Lighting a LAMP, the flame of, which will last for long.
CG3 (Connecting Governed Governing and Governance) held its 76th session of LAMP (Legal Awareness Monitoring Project) at Sree Chithra Thirunal Residential Central School, Kunnathukal, Thiruvananthapuram on 10th November 2025. The event was attended by more than 350 students.
The gathering was welcomed by Principal Smt. S. Pushpavally, with a special address by the Secretary, Shri. T. Satheesh Kumar. The chairman’s address was delivered Dr. K. P. Kylasanatha Pillay, Senior Advocate and Mentor CG3.The inauguration and inaugural address were done by Hon’ble Justice (Retd.) K. P. Balachandran, Former Judge, High Court of Kerala. Adv. Jani P delivered a comprehensive talk on orientation skills for students. A student representative from the school, Kumari Nithya Sree AD, also spoke on the occasion.
The highlight of the session was a 40-minute interactive floor discussion, managed by Adv. Sathi R, and Adv. Ananthu R. S., and where participating students asked questions and raised queries addressed to the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. More than 20 questions were posed, leading to an engaging discussion that spanned various jurisdictions and issues relating to the administration of justice in India. The session was extended to 2 hours and 30 minutes, where students exhibited exemplary discipline and attention. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Adv. Simi V. Tharakan followed by the recital of National Anthem.
